Praise for Key West Bed and Breakfast from critics and press
"Located inside a historic, late 19th-century house, the 10 rooms at the Key West Bed and Breakfast
exude intimate luxury. Vibrant art and local flair converge in this Victorian-style property, which has a wide, Southern-style front porch and beautiful architecture. This charming property is a great fit for couples looking for a romantic getaway but who also want to be close to all the action on Duval Street and the sunset celebrations on Mallory Square. Rooms on the second floor share bathrooms, while rooms on the first and third floors are more spacious, and some have private sundecks."

"Such an unassuming name for such a stand-out guesthouse. You'd never guess that this is one of the most artfully decorated places in town, full of lovely touches that surprise you at every corner. It's light, airy and open, and there's a range of rooms to fit every budget.
The charm of this sunny B&B isn't in knick-knacks, antiques or floofy bedding; it's in the artistic spirit that resides here. The owner, Jody Carlson, is an avid collector of local art, and everywhere you turn you find something beautiful to admire. Upon entry, you're greeted by a large and exuberant canvas, painted by Jody herself in a burst of excitement the night she bought the inn. The fact that the owner is an artist explains a lot: the decor is simple and streamlined, like an art gallery. Each room is made to showcase the lively art, not distract from it. But its not just paintings: there's hand-painted pottery here, a working loom there - is that a ship's masthead in the corner? Everything is as comfortable as it is beautiful, with a continental breakfast served every morning in the sunny, color-filled breakfast room."

“The Key West Bed and Breakfast was the perfect fit for a couple looking to relax in a happening town. We were treated like family, but better. The laid back erythematic vibe that is all about Key West is reflected by the Key West B&B and their fantastic staff. The yummy breakfast consists of homemade breads and muffins, fresh fruit, bagels, great coffee, tea, and all the rest of it. All of our reasonable requests, were fulfilled, they did everything in their power to make us happy. The rooms are beyond pleasant and meticulously maintained. The KWBB is just two blocks from the area known as the historic waterfront. While it is only three blocks from downtown Duval Street. It's so cozy, very comfortable, truly convenient, and extremely kind to your wallet. Could you ask for anything more from a B&B. I am confident that The Key West Bed and Breakfast will meet every one of your expectations! I hope you choose this place and enjoy it as much or more than we did.”
“This is a wonderful Bed and Breakfast in the heart of old town Key West. The delightful rooms were very clean, reasonably priced and comfortable. The breakfast was more than we had ever received from another B&B. The homemade baked goods perfectly percolated coffee, cakes and pies, fresh fruit, bagels, need I say more? How about dining in a pristine location, picture it, all that I mentioned above and more outside on a cozy, romantic secluded deck. Very nice staff on hand for all your needs and questions. The property itself was quiet at night. We will most definitely be back. Highly recommend this hotel.”
“My husband and I would highly recommend the Key West Bed and Breakfast to literally anyone who asked. The accommodations are very comfortable, exceptionally clean and wonderful. The staff is a great resource for requested activities or restaurant suggestions. I am a huge dog lover so I felt even at home when the dogs greeted us in the morning and later on in the day. We sat on the patio while we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast in a tranquil setting. The B&Bs location is superb because it is just a few blocks off of Duval St. and 2 blocks from the main pier. we both agreed, that this was the best place we have ever stayed at.”
“My wife and I spent a lovely week and a half with the folks at the Key West Bed and Breakfast. We were welcomed the moment we entered the building and felt the same way our entire stay. We indulged in breakfast foods like home made fruit loaves, fresh squeezed orange juice, fruit assortment & large mugs of great coffee that started us off in the morning on the patio. We had loads of storage space in the refrigerator for our own delightment and refreshments. It was great to have a variety of snacks after a long day of sightseeing let alone the indulgence on that hot tub to soak in. This hotels location in the Old Town was within an easy walking distance to all attractions along with the street map which was provided by the staff made getting around extremely convenient. Their info regarding restaurants that were near by, along with places to see & things to do was wonderful. When we had had enough walking around whilst sightseeing, and wanted to really relax, we were welcomed by the three verandahs with chairs to lounge on. This was a delight to be had in every respect possible. We will relish in the opportunity to visit again.”
